Ravi Printing Press

Our shop, Ravi Printing Press, is located at 19/2, Kenchanapura Road in the Jnana Ganga Nagar area. It’s a fairly straightforward place. We have been working out of this spot for a while now, and the routine hasn't changed much. The morning starts with clearing off the main table and checking the orders that came in late the day before. Kenchanapura Road stays pretty busy, so there is always a bit of background noise from the street coming through the front. We deal with a lot of different types of paper, from the thin stuff to the thicker cards that sometimes get stuck in the feeder if we aren't careful. There are piles of proofs sitting around that need checking, and usually, someone is busy at the computer trying to get the margins just right. Jnana Ganga Nagar is a decent place to be based. We see a lot of the same faces coming in and out. It isn't a high-tech office environment; it’s more about the smell of the ink and the sound of the machines clicking along. We keep a few chairs for people to wait, but usually, it's just a quick hand-off at the counter. The shelves are mostly full of half-used reams and old samples we keep for reference. It's just a small local business trying to get the work done. The ceiling fan wobbles a bit, but it keeps the air moving while we work.
