We operate out of house number 130 in the Jaymahal Extension. It’s a bit of a maze back here with all the mains and crosses, but we are specifically on the 5th Main and 6th Cross. It’s a lot quieter than the main commercial hubs of the city, which suits us just fine. Being in a residential extension gives the office a different feel than a typical tech park. We write code and manage software systems in a building that looks like it could just be someone’s home. There are trees outside and you can actually hear the birds sometimes, which is a nice change of pace. Our team is small and we’ve mostly known each other for years. We aren't trying to be the next global giant; we just want to build software that actually works for the people using it. There’s no ping-pong table or bean bags in our office. We just have desks, good computers, and a kitchen that usually has some biscuits in it. We spend our days staring at screens and trying to find bugs that shouldn't be there. Sometimes we stay late when a project is acting up, but usually, we try to get home at a decent hour. It’s a quiet, steady kind of business. We’ve stayed in this neighborhood because we like the atmosphere and the fact that we can walk to get lunch without fighting through a crowd.
