Rander Marbles

Rander Marbles is tucked away in the SSI Area, right over in the 5th Block of Rajaji Nagar. If you know where the old Ram Kumar Mill is, you’ve probably passed by our plot at 69/1 plenty of times. The yard is usually full of marble blocks and cut pieces waiting for someone to take them home. It’s a dusty place, honestly. You can’t really deal in marble without getting white powder on everything you own. We spend our mornings sorting through what came in on the last truck. Some of the marble is really bright, and some has those deep veins that look like a map. We don’t have a big fancy office. Mostly we just sit near the entrance where it’s a bit cooler. People come in from all over Rajaji Nagar looking for something for their stairs or maybe a small piece for a temple at home. We have a few guys who help with the loading, and they’ve been with us for years. They know how to handle the stone so it doesn’t chip. It’s not a quiet neighborhood with all the other workshops around, but we like the energy. We’ve seen the area change a lot, but the marble stays the same. It’s just solid, heavy stone that’s been sitting in the ground for years before it ended up here in our yard.
