Ramesh & Co

Ramesh & Co has been around Chickpet for a long time. Our shop is at Tankshal number 52. If you know Chickpet, you know it’s crowded and the lanes are narrow, but it’s got a lot of life. We’ve been in this same spot for years, watching the shops around us change while we stay mostly the same. We deal with all sorts of customers every day. It’s a lot of face-to-face interaction, which can be tiring but also makes the day go by fast. The building is old, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it’s got character. We keep our stock piled up wherever it fits. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but we know exactly where everything is. We don’t spend money on fancy marketing or big ads. We just open the shutters in the morning and wait for the regulars to come by. Sometimes it’s just a quick chat and a small sale, other times it’s a big order that takes all afternoon to pack up. We are just a local business trying to do right by the people in our community. We have our regulars who have been coming to us for decades, and that means a lot to us. It’s simple, honest trade. We don't need much more than that to keep going. We close up when the sun goes down and do it all again tomorrow.
