We are located at 313 on the 15th Cross in Koramangala. Raman Fibre Science isn't a big flashy office building like some of the others in this part of town. It’s more of a practical setup where we actually make things. We work with different types of fibres and materials. It can get a bit dusty with all the offcuts and samples lying around. The rooms are filled with some specialized equipment that hums all day long. We aren't really set up for visitors, so there’s no fancy lobby or coffee machine. Usually, everyone is busy at their stations or looking at some data on a screen. It’s a lot of trial and error here. Sometimes a batch doesn't turn out right and we have to start over. That’s just the nature of working with these kinds of materials. We’ve been in this Koramangala spot for a few years now. The neighborhood has gotten a lot busier, but inside it’s just the same group of us doing our work. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Most of our contacts are people we’ve known for a long time. It’s a quiet business, really. We focus on the science part and let the rest take care of itself. The shelves are packed with jars of chemicals and rolls of different fabrics. It looks a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we have our own system that works for us.
