Raju Painting

Raju Painting is located over in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar. It’s a quiet enough area most of the time, though you get the usual street noise during the day. We don’t have a big staff or a fancy front desk with a receptionist. It’s usually just Raju and a couple of us getting the ladders ready and checking the weather before we head out. Our storage area is full of different shades of paint and old overalls that have seen better days. We’ve been working out of this neighborhood for a good while, so we know which streets are the narrowest and where to park the truck so it doesn't get in anyone's way. The shop itself is pretty basic, just a place to keep our gear dry and organize the brushes. We don't spend a lot of time sitting around. Most days start early with a quick check of the supplies and then we're gone until the sun starts to set. Sometimes the neighbors stop by to ask about colors or just to see what we're up to. It’s a humble way to make a living, but it keeps us busy. We don’t have a big sign or anything flashy, people just know where to find us in the colony. It’s just a regular local business where we focus on getting the paint on the walls and finishing up so we can get home.
