Raj Ceramics

We are located at Plot No. 1 on Hosur Road. It’s right in the Konappana Agrahara area, near the entrance to Electronic City. It’s a very busy part of the road, so there’s always noise and movement from the traffic. We’ve been dealing with ceramics for a long time now. Our yard is filled with stacks of tiles and various pieces we’ve collected over the months. It’s not a fancy showroom like the ones you see in the mall. It’s more of a working warehouse where we move things around as people buy them for their homes. We started out with just a small corner of the plot and eventually took over the whole space as we got busier. Working with ceramics is heavy, dusty work, but we’re used to it. My brother and I run the place mostly. We don't wear suits or anything; we’re usually in work clothes because we’re always loading or unloading trucks that come in. The location is good because it’s easy for the delivery drivers to find us right on the main road. Sometimes the dust from the traffic gets on the stock, so we have to wipe things down often to keep them looking okay. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just see the tiles from the road and pull over. We give them a fair price and help them load up their vehicle. It’s a simple business for us and we like the area.
