Raghav Indaram Marble & Ceramics

Our business is Raghav Indaram Marble & Ceramics and we are located at number 41 on the Hessarghatta Main Road. We are in the Vidyaranyapura area and a good landmark for us is the Sambram College which is quite close by. Being near a college means there are always students walking around but most of our visitors are people looking for stone for their houses. Hessarghatta Main Road is quite a long stretch and it can get very windy out here. We have large slabs of marble leaning against the walls and stacks of ceramic tiles in the back. Marble is heavy so we spend a lot of time carefully moving pieces around so they don't crack or get damaged. The shop is mostly open to the air so we get a lot of the outside weather coming in. Vidyaranyapura is a growing part of town and we see new buildings going up all the time. Our floor is covered in stone samples of all different colors and textures. It is a very hands-on job where your hands are always a bit gritty from the stone dust. We don't have a fancy showroom with air conditioning. It is just a basic yard and shop where we show people what we have available on that day. We just stay here and work until the traffic on the main road starts to die down and it's time to close up.
