We are over at Karim Manzil on B Oosman Khan Road. It’s right near the N R Road area, and if you know where the Naaz Complex is, we are directly opposite to that. Our office at Rafi Ahmed & Associates is on the first floor, No. 20/1. The building has been there for a long time, and you can tell by the way the walls and floors look. We like it here because it's central, even if the traffic is a nightmare during the evening rush. The office is full of files and folders because that’s the nature of what we do. We spend a lot of time reading through documents and typing things up. It’s not the quietest spot in Bangalore, but you get used to the honking and the people outside. We have a small area where we sit and do our work, and a few chairs for people who come to see us. The tea guy comes around a couple of times a day, which is always a good break. We don't have a lot of modern decorations or fancy furniture; everything here is built to last and serve a purpose. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the window, so we have to move some papers around to keep them dry. It’s just one of those things you deal with in an old building. We keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand. It’s a steady rhythm of work that fills our days.
