R R Engineering Services has been based out of Ramaswamy Palya for a long time. We occupy a space in the HAL Krishnappa Building at 356/2. It is one of those old buildings where everyone knows each other. Our workshop is usually full of metal parts and tools lying around, which might look messy to some, but we know where everything is. We do a lot of small-scale engineering work. People bring us things that are broken or need a specific part made, and we try our best to get it sorted out. It is hard work and the floor is always covered in dust or oil, no matter how much we sweep. The area around HAL is always humming with activity, which keeps us on our toes. We are not a big corporation with hundreds of employees. It is just a handful of us who have been doing this for years. Sometimes the machines act up or the power goes out, but we just wait it out and get back to work. We do not have a receptionist or a fancy waiting area. If you come by, you will probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up. We value getting the job finished more than anything else. It is a plain way of living, but it is what we know. Being in Ramaswamy Palya makes it easy for local businesses to drop off their stuff without traveling too far across the city.
