Purple Orchid

Purple Orchid is located at 126 Kacharakanahalli on the Hennur Main Road, right near Devis Road. Our shop is where we keep all our plants and flowers. It is usually quite a mess with leaves on the floor and water buckets sitting around, but that is just the nature of working with greenery. We spend a lot of our time trimming stems and making sure everything stays fresh in the heat. The location on Hennur Main Road is quite busy, so there is a lot of dust that we have to wipe off the counters every few hours. Inside, it smells like damp earth and cut flowers, which is better than the exhaust fumes from the street outside. We have some basic shelves and a small area where we sit to work on orders. It is not a corporate setup by any means. We have our own way of doing things that might look a bit disorganized to an outsider, but we know where every vase and ribbon is kept. The building at 126 is an older structure, and sometimes the roof leaks a little when the monsoon rains are heavy, but we just put a bucket under it and keep going. We are just local folks running a flower shop in a busy part of town. It’s hard work and our hands are usually dirty, but we don't mind it.
