Priyaranjan & Co

We are right across from the Madiwala Police Station at number 105. Being in Madiwala means there is never a quiet moment, with the sirens and the constant flow of people coming and going. Priyaranjan & Co has been in this building for quite some time now. The stairs up to the office are a bit steep and the paint is peeling in a few places, but it works for what we need. Inside, there are several desks pushed together and a lot of old ledgers and paperwork stacked up. We don't really bother with decorating the place much. There is a small window that looks out over the street, but it’s usually too noisy to keep it open for long. Most of the people who come to see us are locals or people who have been told where we are, because our sign isn't very big. We spend our days mostly on the phone or working through the documents on our desks. Sometimes we go out to the small stalls nearby for a quick snack or a tea when the afternoon slump hits. The office can get a bit cramped when we have a few visitors at once, but we just pull up some extra stools and make it work. It is an honest living and we don't try to make it sound like more than it is. We just handle the business and go home like everyone else. The evening commute from here is always a bit of a challenge though.
