Prem Granites & Marbles

Our yard for Prem Granites & Marbles is located at 218 in Electronic City, specifically on the 6th Cross. Most people think of this area for IT companies and big glass buildings, but we are tucked away doing something a bit more old-fashioned. We deal with heavy stone slabs all day. Granite and marble are beautiful but they are a real pain to move around. We have a lot of different pieces leaning against the walls and stacked in the back. It’s a bit of a maze sometimes. We try to keep the place organized so people can see the patterns in the stone without tripping over anything. The 6th Cross isn't too hard to find if you know the area. We spend a lot of time cutting pieces to the right size or just moving slabs with the crane. It gets very dusty when the saws are running, so we usually have water spraying everywhere to keep the air clear. We aren't a big showroom with air conditioning; it’s more of an open-air shed. We’ve been here for a bit, seeing the rest of Electronic City grow up around us. It’s quiet on the weekends but during the week, there’s always someone stopping by to look at a piece of granite for a kitchen or a floor. We just show them what we have on the lot and let them choose. It is very straightforward.
