Prakash Foods

Prakash Foods is located at 116 in the Bommasandra Industrial Area, down in Anekal. Being in an industrial zone means it's mostly warehouses and factories all around us. It’s not the prettiest place, but it’s where all the work happens. We handle food products here, mostly packing and getting things ready for distribution. The building is a standard shed with enough room for our equipment and some storage. It gets pretty loud during the day with the machines running and trucks backing in and out of the loading bay. We have a small crew of workers who come in from the nearby villages. Everyone knows their job and we just get on with it. We don't have a reception desk or a lobby for guests. Usually, if someone comes by, they just find us on the floor. The air in Bommasandra is always thick with the smell of industry. We’ve been here for several years now. It’s a tough environment sometimes, especially when it’s hot, but we keep the fans going. Our focus is just on getting the orders out to the shops that buy from us. We don't spend money on fancy brochures. We just make sure the food is handled right and the boxes are taped shut. It’s a no-nonsense type of operation. We just do our work and head home when the shift is over. Sometimes the rain makes the yard muddy but we manage.
