Pradeepa R is located at 922 Sri Nagar, on the 9th Main Road. Most people know this area because of the Thunga Bhadra Nadi Road and the Pipeline that runs nearby. It’s a neighborhood that’s seen a lot of changes, but the dusty roads and the local shops stay pretty much the same. Our place is easy to spot if you’re looking for the number, though the paint on the outside has faded a bit over the seasons. Inside, we keep things very simple. There’s a desk, some chairs for visitors, and a lot of notebooks where we keep track of everything. We don’t use much high-tech equipment, mostly just the basics to get the job done. The sound of the traffic from the Pipeline road is always there in the background, but you get used to it after a few days. We start our mornings early before the heat gets too bad, and usually, we’re here until the sun goes down. There’s no big sign or flashing lights to tell you where we are. We just rely on the fact that we’ve been here for years and people know how to find us. Sometimes the water connection acts up or the internet is slow, but we just work around it. It’s a modest way to run a business, but it feels right for this part of Sri Nagar. We’re just regular people doing our best every day. We usually keep some spare umbrellas by the door.
