Power Play Systems

Finding us at Lakshmi Narayan Puram can be a bit tricky if you aren't familiar with the Hirabhai Market area. We are at Diwan Ball 20, which used to be Old No 134, so even the mail sometimes gets confused. Power Play Systems is basically a place where we deal with power backups, UPS units, and sometimes other computer-related hardware. The market is always buzzing, and there’s barely any room on the sidewalk. Inside, we have rows of batteries and heavy equipment that we test throughout the day. It’s not the cleanest place in the world because of all the metal and lead around, but it gets the job done. We spend a lot of time with voltmeters and testing cables to make sure everything is running right. The fans in the shop are constantly running to keep the heat down from the machinery. It's a very practical environment. We don't spend money on fancy decorations; we just have some old metal shelves and a solid workbench. Customers usually come in when their power has failed or they need a replacement part for their system. We explain things in simple terms because most people just want their equipment to work again. It gets quite loud with all the traffic outside on the main road, but once you’re inside, we just focus on the repairs. It’s been our daily routine for a long time now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of this old building.
