Polymers Plastics

You can find us over in Bendra Nagar at 19, 13th Cross. It’s near the Bangalore Viswavidalaya area, which is usually quite busy with all the university students and staff moving around. We are Polymers Plastics, and we spend our days working with various plastic materials in our warehouse. The building is a simple one-story structure with a heavy metal gate that we slide open every morning. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of stock and a few benches where we handle the smaller jobs. The 13th Cross is a bit narrow, so when we have a delivery, it can get a little tight on the street. I usually sit near the front door where I can catch a bit of a breeze and see who’s coming down the road. Kadirenahalli has changed a lot since we first set up here at number 19, with more houses and shops popping up everywhere. We aren’t a very big outfit, just a handful of us making sure the orders are filled. The floor is often covered in small plastic scraps that we have to sweep up at the end of the day. It’s not a glamorous business, but it’s steady work. We take our lunch breaks together in the small back room, and then it’s back to the materials until evening. It’s a straightforward way to make a living, and we’ve grown to like the neighborhood quite a bit.
