Pioneer Granites

We are out in the Harohally Industrial Area, which is quite a stretch down Kanakpura Road if you are coming from the main city. Most days at Pioneer Granites start early because the trucks get here before the sun is really up. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect with stone work. We deal with granite blocks and slabs that come in from various quarries nearby. The yard is usually full of different colors and patterns. My brother and I handle most of the daily operations ourselves. We don't have a big fancy showroom with air conditioning. Instead, we have the slabs lined up so people can walk through and see the natural veins in the stone. It’s hard work moving these heavy pieces around, but we’ve been doing it for years now. Sometimes the rain makes the yard a bit muddy, but we keep the work going anyway. People from Ram Nagar and the surrounding areas often stop by when they are building houses. We just give them the prices and let them choose what they like for their kitchens or floors. There isn't much to say other than we spend our time cutting and moving stone.
