Petralene Products Pvt. Ltd. sits at number 211 on the 4th Main Road. This part of Peenya 2nd Stage is always full of activity. Since we are in the G.K.W. Layout, there are factories and workshops all around us. You can hear the sound of the industrial area from 8:00 AM sharp. Our building is a square, practical structure that does exactly what it needs to do. Inside, the air has that smell of oil and chemicals that stays on your clothes even after you leave. We spend a lot of time checking the tanks and making sure the pipes are clear. There is a lot of heavy lifting involved, so the staff is usually pretty tired by the end of the day. We have a small canteen area where we sit on benches to eat our tiffins. The conversations are usually about the traffic on the main road or the cricket scores from last night. We have a lot of barrels stacked up in the yard, and we have to move them around with the forklift quite often. The office part is mostly just for filling out forms and taking phone calls from suppliers. It’s a bit cluttered with samples and old invoices. We don’t have any decorations on the walls, just a few safety signs and a clock that is five minutes fast. It is a steady place to work, and we just keep the production going.
