Perfect Technlogies

Our spot at Perfect Technlogies is located over on Tyagarajanagar, right on Chuda Mantalim Road 17. It is one of those places where you can always hear the sound of something being unscrewed or the hum of a cooling fan. The walls are lined with shelves that hold various parts, some old and some new, and there is usually a pile of wires tangled up in a corner that someone is supposed to sort through. We spend our days hunched over desks with small tools and magnifying glasses. It’s not a quiet office; there is usually someone talking on the phone or the noise of the traffic from the road coming through the open door. We get all kinds of gadgets brought in, many of them covered in dust or with screens that have seen better days. The floor is concrete and can get quite cold in the rainy season, so we usually wear thick slippers while we work. We don't have fancy uniforms or a front desk person. Usually, whoever isn't holding a soldering iron is the one who answers the door. We drink a lot of coffee to stay sharp because the screws are tiny and easy to lose. Sometimes a repair takes longer than we thought, and the desk gets even more cluttered with pieces of hardware. We just keep at it until the job is done and the shelf is clear for the next day's work and more incoming gadgets.
