Perfect Pressing

If you need your clothes looked after, Perfect Pressing is on the Hadapsar Saswad Road 132 in the Kamakshi Palya Phursungi area. It’s a hot place to work because the irons are always on. We spend most of our hours standing at the boards. It’s a lot of repetitive movement, but there is something satisfying about seeing a wrinkled shirt become smooth. We take in all kinds of clothes from the people living nearby. Some days the piles of laundry are taller than me. We have to be careful not to mix anything up. It’s a simple system we use, mostly just tags and notebooks. We aren't a big factory or anything like that. It’s just a local pressing shop. The traffic on Saswad Road is usually loud, but we just get used to it after a while. We’ve been at this location for a good bit of time now. Most of our customers are regulars who drop their things off on Monday and pick them up later in the week. We don't do any big promotions. We just rely on doing the job right so people come back. Sometimes the steam gets a bit much when it’s raining outside, but we just keep working. It’s a basic service, but everyone needs it. We are just glad to be here doing our part in the community.
