Being in the Peenya Industrial Area means we are surrounded by noise and factories all day long. Anchal Attires Pvt. Ltd. is at V-80 in the Pennya 2nd Stage, right on the 1st Mail. It is a big industrial zone, so there is always a truck blocking the road or someone unloading something nearby. Our building is not anything special to look at. It is a practical space where we have all our machines and workstations set up. The morning starts early here because the traffic in Pennya gets bad if you wait too long. We have a lot of people coming in and out every shift. The sound of the machines is constant once we get started. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the tables and the fabric pieces lying around. We do not have fancy carpets or glass walls. It is a factory through and through. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but we are usually too busy to worry about that. We eat our lunch in a small corner near the back window where there is a little bit of a breeze. Pennya is a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the smoke from the other units, but we are used to it. We just focus on the garments and making sure the day's work is finished before the night shift starts.
