Bangalore is always growing, and this neighborhood has changed a lot since we first set up here. The office is basically a converted space that feels more like a home than a big corporate building. It gets decent light in the mornings. There is a lot of traffic on the main road, but once you turn into the cross, it quietens down a little bit. Most of us live around this part of the city, so the commute is not too bad unless the rain starts. We have a small corner where we keep the coffee machine and some snacks for the afternoon slump. It is a comfortable enough place to spend the day. We don't have a big reception desk or a sign that lights up. It is just the name on the door. We work through the pile of things on our desks and try to get out before the evening rush hour hits. The walls are painted a light cream color that has faded. We have a big whiteboard covered in scribbles that only we understand. It gets a little dusty because of the construction nearby, so we end up wiping the desks down more often. A nice breeze comes through the balcony door on most days, which helps keep the place feeling fresh even when it’s busy.
