Paxal Granites

Paxal Granites is located at 16/9 Dasanapura Hobli Raja Market, right near Avenue Road Circle. If you’ve ever been down this way, you know how packed the streets are. We deal with heavy stone all day. Granite isn’t easy to move around, and our hands are usually covered in grit and dust by noon. The sound of the cutters is constant, and it can get pretty loud, but you get used to it after a few weeks. We have slabs leaning against the walls in every shade of grey and pink you can imagine. Raja Market is a chaotic place, and getting a truck in or out of here near Avenue Road Circle is a nightmare every single time. We spend a lot of time shouting over the noise just to hear each other. It’s physical work, and our backs often ache by the time we close up. We don’t have a fancy showroom with spotlights. You just come in, look at the stone in the natural light, and see it for what it is. Some pieces have cracks or marks, and we have to work around those. It’s a rough business, but there is something satisfying about seeing a raw piece of rock get turned into something useful. We’ve been in this spot for years, and the neighbors all know the sound of our machines.
