Pawan Associates is right on the ground floor over at 51,4 in the Ramesh Dhanalakshmi market. If you’ve ever been to Nagarathpet, you know it’s a maze of shops and people everywhere. It’s a very active part of the city. Being on the ground floor helps because people don’t have to climb any stairs to find us. The market is always loud, filled with the sounds of trade and talk. We’ve been here in this spot for some time now. It’s a small office, packed with whatever we need to get through the day's tasks. We don't have any polished lobby or fancy chairs. It’s just a practical workspace where we sit and handle our business. The lighting isn't the best, but we've got our lamps. Every morning, the market wakes up early and we are right there with it. Sometimes it’s hard to find parking nearby, so most people just walk in from the main road. We see a lot of faces throughout the week. Some are regulars and some are just passing through the market. Our door stays open most of the time to catch a bit of a breeze. It’s a busy life here in Nagarathpet. We just focus on the work at hand and try to keep things moving. There is always a lot to do and not enough hours. We usually head home once the market starts to quiet down for the night.
