Our shop is located at No.85 on 23rd Cross, which is right in the heart of Chickpet. If you know the area, you probably know Jodhpur Sweets because we are right opposite them. R.T. Street is always packed with people and shops, so it is quite a lively place to work every day. Being near the B.V.K. Iyengar Road Cross means there is never a dull moment outside. The parlor is small and very simple. We have the basic equipment and some old chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We keep things humble here. It is the kind of place where you hear the sounds of the market outside while you are getting your hair done. We do not have fancy decorations. Most of the people who come in are locals or folks who work in the nearby textile shops. We start our mornings early, getting the towels ready and making sure everything is in its place. Chickpet is a maze, but once you find us, it is easy to remember the spot. We have stayed in this same building for a long time. It feels like home to us. Sometimes the power goes out, or the street gets blocked, but we just carry on. It is just a regular local business run by people who live nearby. We do not use big words to describe what we do. We just do the work and chat with the regular customers.
