Parcel & Courier Services operates out of 15 Shanthi Nagar, right in the Navjeevan Society on Vidyavihar Road. It’s a quiet little corner compared to some other parts of the city. We have been here for a while, just taking in envelopes and boxes from the local residents. Our shop isn't anything fancy to look at. It’s just a counter, some scales, and a lot of shelves for storing things until they get picked up. We see a lot of the same faces from the society coming in to send things to their families or for work. We don’t use any corporate talk or have big slogans on the wall. We just do the daily grind of weighing items and getting the addresses right. Vidyavihar Road can get a bit congested during the evening, but we stay open until the last parcel is sorted. Sometimes the printer runs out of ink right when we’re busy, or a customer can't remember the pincode, and we just work through it. It’s a small operation, just a couple of us making sure things get sent out. We like being in Shanthi Nagar because it feels like a real community. We know most of the people who walk by our window. It’s not about growing into some giant company; it’s just about providing a place where people can send their mail and packages without any fuss. We just keep the records and wait for the delivery vans.
