Our office is located at No. 39/4 in Paneghat House, right on the second floor. We are situated directly opposite the Cathedral School on Richmond Road. This means it gets very noisy during the day when the school children are arriving or heading home. You can always hear the school bells and the sounds of buses from our windows. Richmond Road is constantly packed with traffic, especially in the early mornings. We have been operating from this specific space for quite a few years now. The stairs leading up to our floor are a bit narrow, so we have to be careful when we are carrying supplies or files up and down. Inside, the space is mostly filled with desks and tall stacks of shipping documents. We do a lot of work involving imports and exports. It is a small team here, and we all know each other’s families. We don’t really use fancy software for everything; we still do a lot of things the old way with paper ledgers and phone calls. The building has that classic Bangalore feel that you don't see as much anymore. We often go downstairs to the tiny shops nearby to get snacks or a coffee. It is a busy place, but it keeps us moving. There is always some new paperwork to file or a container that needs tracking. We don't have a lobby or a receptionist. People just walk in, do their business, and go.
