Our office is located over in Rabrindranath Tagore Nagar, right in the V P O Jandiali S3 area. We spend most of our time talking to people about their health and how to stop problems before they start. It is a quiet place compared to the big city hospitals. We see a lot of the same faces from the village and nearby. Dealing with disease management means we have to keep a lot of records and follow up with everyone. It can be a lot of paperwork. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we end up writing things down by hand like we used to. We aren't a big hospital with hundreds of beds. We are just a small group trying to help people manage their daily health. We talk about diet and exercise and taking medicine on time. The building is simple, nothing too fancy, just enough space for us to work and for people to wait. We see folks coming in from the fields or after their work shifts. It gets busy around the middle of the day. We try to keep it friendly so no one feels nervous about being here. It’s just a regular office where we look at charts and talk about well-being. Everyone here knows each other pretty well by now. We usually have the doors open to let the breeze in while we go through the files.
