We set up shop here in Bommanahalli on 7th Cross. It’s 6th Block, number 65/3. Mostly we deal with phones that people dropped or screens that stopped working. It’s a small place, gets a bit crowded with all the boxes and tools lying around. We spend a lot of time looking at tiny screws and circuit boards under a magnifying lamp. People come in with all sorts of issues. Some just want a new charger or a cheap cover. We try to fix things as they come. Sometimes parts take a few days to get here, which is annoying for everyone but that’s how it goes. We aren't a big showroom with bright lights and fancy uniforms. Just a counter and some workbenches in the back. It’s usually busy in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We keep track of everything in a thick notebook. It’s a bit old fashioned maybe. But we know our way around a mobile. We’ve seen every kind of broken glass you can imagine. We just stay here and do the work. The traffic outside on the cross is always noisy but we are used to it by now. If your phone is acting up, we are usually around during the day. We don't do much advertising, just word of mouth from people in the neighborhood. We just hope to get the repairs done right so people come back for help next time.
