Godown Street has a lot of history and you can still see the old style of the neighborhood in the buildings around us. Being on the ground floor means we see a lot of what goes on outside. People walking by, delivery bikes, and the occasional stray dog sitting near the entrance. The Sumeru building is sturdy but old. Our office inside is functional. We have our desks set up in a way that makes it easy to talk to each other. It’s not a quiet library environment; there’s usually some chatter or the sound of the printer going. Basavanagudi is a great area, especially for the food nearby. We often go out for coffee at the local spots. The air in the office can get a bit stuffy since we are on the ground floor near the street, but we have some fans to keep things moving. We don't spend money on fancy decor. Most of our stuff is stuff we've had for years. It’s just a comfortable, plain place where we do our daily tasks. No bells or whistles, just the basics at number 12. It’s homey in its own way.
