Overnite Express Ltd

The office here at Overnite Express Ltd is right near the crossroads in Richmond Town. If you know the Bavla Gandhinagar area, you know how busy it gets with all the traffic coming through. We spend most of our mornings just sorting through piles of boxes and envelopes that arrived overnight. It’s a bit cramped in here sometimes, especially when the big shipments come in all at once. The floor gets covered in tape and labels. Most of the guys have been working here for a few years now, so we have a routine that works. We don't really have a lobby for people to sit in, just a counter where we take things and write out the slips. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, and we just wait it out or use torches to see the labels. It’s just how it goes in this part of town. The building is older, number 83, so the walls have some scuffs from moving crates around. We keep a fan going because it gets stuffy with all the paper and plastic around. It’s not a quiet place, but the work gets done eventually. People come in in a hurry, usually looking for their tracking numbers or asking when a parcel will get to where it’s going. We just check the books and tell them what we see. It’s practical work and we try to stay on top of the mess.
