Oriental Easel

Oriental Easel is located at 338 Kalyan Nagar in Dhankawdi. We have been here for a while, dealing with all sorts of things related to art and painting. The shop is in a regular residential area, so it feels very local. We have brushes, canvases, and lots of different paints scattered around the place. It is not the most organized shop, but we know where everything is. People from Dhankawdi come in when they want to start a new hobby or if they are already artists looking for supplies. I spend a lot of time talking to customers about different types of paper or which brush is better for certain styles. It is a quiet kind of business. We don't have a website or anything like that. Most people just walk in because they live nearby or heard about us from a friend. Kalyan Nagar is a nice place to be. The light in the shop is good in the mornings, which helps when we are looking at colors. We are just ordinary people who happen to like art supplies. Sometimes we get students from the local schools coming in for projects. It is nice to see them get excited about a new set of paints. We just keep the doors open and help out whoever comes in. There is no corporate vibe here, just a lot of paint and wooden easels leaning against the walls. It is how we like it.
