Ocean Power Systems & Services

Ocean Power Systems & Services is based over in Kumarswamy Layout at number 229. We aren't a typical retail shop where you just walk in and browse. It’s more of a workspace where we deal with generators and power equipment. There is always a bit of grease and oil around because we’re actually fixing things here. We’ve been at this address for a long time. The layout is a nice place to work, even if it gets a bit noisy when we’re testing a motor. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. It’s mostly just a garage-style space with lots of tools hanging on the walls. We spend our days either here at 229 or out at a customer’s site. It’s physical work and it can be quite tiring. We don't have a mission statement or any corporate goals. We just want to make sure the machines we work on are running right. Most of our customers know us by name and just call us when something breaks down. We like the fact that we’re a small, local operation. It feels more personal that way. Sometimes the shop is a complete mess of wires and metal, but that’s just how we work. We aren't worried about looking polished. We just care about getting the job done and staying busy in Kumarswamy Layout. We've got a lot of spare parts tucked away in the back. You never know when you'll need a specific bolt.
