At Nie Power & Engineering Pvt Ltd, we operate out of Ashely Road near Marine Drive, which is a nice part of the city to be in. Our office is in the B 40 building. It’s an engineering firm, so we deal with power systems and a lot of technical equipment. The office isn't very large, and it’s usually filled with spare parts and heavy manuals. We spend a lot of time out at different sites, so the office can be a bit quiet during the middle of the day. When we are here, we are usually planning out the next installation or checking on orders for components. We've been in the engineering field for a long time, so we've seen how things have changed over the years. We aren't into big marketing or flashy presentations. We just focus on making sure the power systems we work on are reliable. The sea breeze from Marine Drive is nice when the windows are open, though the salt can be tough on some of the equipment if we aren't careful. It’s a small team of us who have worked together for ages. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People usually just walk straight into the workspace where we have the desks. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and it works for us. We just keep busy with the technical side of things and let the work speak for itself.
