New Western Electricals is right in the middle of things at Indira Nagar Devatha Market 56. Being in Indira Nagar means there is always a lot of movement and noise around the shop. Devatha Market is a busy spot where everyone seems to be looking for something specific. We have a lot of electrical components and parts stacked up on our shelves. It’s a bit of a maze inside sometimes because we try to keep so much in stock at number 56. We’ve been here for a long time and the regulars know exactly which corner to look in. We don't really bother with fancy displays or polished sales pitches. Most people just come in, ask for what they need, and we find it for them. It’s a very practical way to spend the day. The lighting in the back is a bit dim, but we know where every wire and bulb is located. Sometimes we have tea while waiting for the next delivery to arrive. It’s a comfortable routine that hasn't changed much over the years. The market can be overwhelming for some, but for us, it’s just the place where we work. We don't have any grand plans, just keeping the shop open and the shelves filled. It’s a local business and we like the people who stop by to chat while they shop. We just keep our heads down and worry about the stock levels. It’s usually a long day.
