New Metro Hotel

New Metro Hotel sits at 31/B on Jaya Chamarajendra Road. It’s an old building, but it does the job for people looking for a place to stay in this part of town. The road outside is always full of cars and buses, so there’s a lot of noise during the day. We have rooms that are basic and straightforward. We don’t have a massive lobby or a concierge desk like the big places do. Usually, it’s just one of us at the front desk handling the keys and the register. We spend a lot of time checking the linens and making sure the fans are working right. Sometimes the plumbing acts up because the pipes are old, and we have to call the repairman in a hurry. It’s a bit of a walk up the stairs if you have heavy bags, but most people don’t mind. We get a mix of travelers, mostly folks here for work or visiting family nearby. The location is the main reason people stay here since it’s easy to get to other parts of the city from J.C. Road. We try to keep things tidy, though the city dust always finds a way in through the windows. It isn’t a luxury spot, just a practical place for a night or two. We’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years, but the hotel stays pretty much the same. We just keep the doors open and the rooms ready for whoever arrives.
