Nearlearn

Nearlearn is based in the 2nd Stage of BTM Layout. It is a busy part of town with lots of students and offices around. Our place is pretty straightforward. We have some classrooms and a small area where we sit and plan things out. We focus on teaching people new technologies, the kind of things that are always changing. It gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the street vendors, but we are used to it by now. We are not a big university or anything like that. It is just a small team of us who enjoy learning new things ourselves and then showing others how they work. Sometimes the internet acts up and we all have to wait around, which gives us a chance to talk about things other than work. The office has a lot of whiteboards, and they are usually covered in scribbles and diagrams. We started here because BTM is where everyone is. It is easy for people to reach us. We do not have a receptionist in a suit or anything. Usually, you will just find one of us sitting near the door. We keep the fridge stocked with water and sometimes some snacks for the long days. It is an honest little operation. We just like technology and we like sharing it with the folks who live and work around BTM Layout. It is not perfect, but it is our space and we like it.
