Nav Durga Pipes & Fittings is at No.5, S P Road, inside Jmg Lane. If you know Bangalore, you know that S P Road is the main hub for all things hardware. Our shop is tucked away in a narrow lane, so it’s a bit quieter than the main street but still very busy. We have pipes of every size you can think of leaning against the walls. There are bins filled with all the small connectors and fittings. We have been operating out of this small space for a long time. It’s a family-run place, and we don't have a lot of extra help. We spend our days measuring pipes and helping people figure out what they need for their plumbing. The lighting isn't great inside, but we know where everything is kept. We don't do any marketing or have a fancy sign. Most of our business comes from people who are already on S P Road looking for supplies. It’s a very practical business. We don't have a website or any fancy technology. We just use a basic calculator and a notebook. Sometimes the lane gets blocked by deliveries, and everything has to stop for a bit. We don't mind, we just take a break and have some tea from the stall nearby. We open up early and close once the market starts to wind down. It’s just a normal day.
