You can find us at No. 136, right opposite the Padubidri Hotel on the 3rd Main Road. This area is Nagappa Block in Srirampuram, and it’s a very busy neighborhood. Our shop is on the 4th Cross Road, and it’s usually quite loud with all the people heading to the hotel for their meals. The building isn't very new, so the walls have some cracks and the floor is a bit worn down from all the walking. We have shelves stacked high with garments, mostly stuff for everyday wear. It’s a tight fit inside, especially when we have more than a couple of people looking around. My family has been around this part of Srirampuram for a long time, so we know most of the neighbors and the other shopkeepers on the road. We open up early and stay till the last bus goes by. Sometimes we sit on the stools outside just to catch a bit of air when the shop gets too stuffy. It’s a simple business. We don't do any big advertising; people just see the shop while they’re walking to the bus stop or the hotel across the street. We handle everything ourselves, from opening the shutters to cleaning the glass counters every morning. It’s just how we’ve always done it here in Nagappa Block, and we don't plan on changing much about it anytime soon.
