Nanda Hotel

Nanda Hotel is tucked away at No. 149 in the Gandhinagar area of Bangalore. We are right on the 5th Cross, which is a bit of a mix of busy and quiet depending on the hour. One of the nice things is being adjacent to the park. You can see the trees and hear a bit of birds early in the morning before the city really wakes up and the traffic starts humming. We have been operating here for some time, and the building has its own quirks like any older place. It is not one of those glass skyscrapers you see in the newer parts of town. We are just a local hotel where people come when they have business in the city or are just passing through. Our staff knows the neighborhood well. If someone asks for a good tea stall or where to catch a bus, we usually have an answer. The lobby is a small space where we keep the registers and keys. We spend most of our time making sure the rooms are tidy and the water is running right. It is a lot of work keeping up with a building on 5th Cross. People come and go at odd hours, so there is always someone awake here. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us here every day, making sure things work. Sometimes the elevator is slow, and we have to tell people to be patient, but that is just part of how it is.
