Nahar'S Heritage Hotel

We are located at No. 14 St. Mark’S Road, which is one of those streets in Bangalore that still feels a bit like the old days. There are big trees lining the road and a lot of history if you bother to look for it. Our hotel has been part of this neighborhood for a long time. It isn’t one of those new glass buildings that look like a box. It has some character to it. I spend most of my day at the front or checking on the rooms to see if the cleaning is done right. We get a lot of people who come here because they like being near the center of town but don’t want to be in a crowded mall hotel. The area around 560001 is always busy, but our spot is tucked back just enough. Sometimes I sit out front for a minute and just watch the traffic go by on St. Mark’s. It’s a lot of work keeping an old building running smoothly. There’s always a pipe to fix or a wall that needs a bit of paint, but we stay on top of it. We aren’t trying to be the fanciest place in the world. We just want to give people a place to sleep that feels okay. Most of the staff at Nahar'S Heritage Hotel has been here for years, so we’re more like a small family than a big corporation.
