N V Shiva Prasad Painting Contractor

My name is Shiva Prasad and I run this painting business from 128 Kadirenahalli Cross, near Kemps Corner. I’ve been a painting contractor for a long time. I started out working for others and then decided to do my own thing about ten years ago. Now I have a small team of reliable guys. We do all sorts of painting, both inside and out. Being near Kemps Corner means we get all kinds of jobs, some big old houses and some smaller modern flats. We keep all our supplies at the Kadirenahalli address. It's not a big shop or anything, just a place to store the drop cloths and the heavy buckets. I spend most of my time visiting the sites to see how the work is going. I like to make sure my guys are doing it right. We don't use many machines, we mostly do it all by hand because that’s how you get into the corners properly. Sometimes customers are very picky about the specific shade of white or cream, and we have to do a few samples on the wall first. That’s just a normal part of the job. I don't really have a website or anything like that. I just answer my phone and talk to people directly. We work hard every day and we go home tired. It’s a good living. We’ve been at this same spot for years and don't really plan on moving anywhere else. It is just a simple, local business that we run ourselves.
