Our office is located at No. 101 in Bandappa Garden, which is part of the Mutyala Nagar area. Amma Exports & Imports Pvt. Ltd. has been operating from this spot for a while. It’s a bit of a quiet corner, which is nice when you have as much paperwork to get through as we do. The building isn't anything special, just a solid place where we can keep our computers and all the files we need for the business. We spend most of our time talking to suppliers and trying to figure out the best way to move things from point A to point B. It involves a lot of waiting on hold and checking the weather in places halfway across the world. The office itself is pretty simple. We have a few desks, some chairs that have seen better days, and a big map on the wall that we rarely look at anymore because everything is on the screen now. Bandappa Garden is a nice enough place to work, and we’ve gotten used to the local rhythm. We aren't a big corporation with hundreds of employees; we are just a small group of people trying to keep things running smoothly. There’s always something that needs fixing or a document that needs a signature, so the days go by pretty fast. We just show up, do the work, and try to make sure everything gets where it needs to go.
