Museum Inn Hotel

We have been here on Museum Road for a long time now. The building sits at number 1, right near the corner where things are always moving. It’s an interesting spot because you get all kinds of travelers. Some are here for work and others are just looking at the city for a few days. We spend a lot of time at the front desk checking people in and out. The lobby gets a bit of light in the morning, which is nice. We try to keep the rooms clean and the beds made up properly. It’s not like those giant glass hotels you see in the new parts of town. We have a bit more character than that. The street outside can get noisy with the traffic, but inside it stays fairly calm. Our staff knows the neighborhood well, so if someone asks where to get a coffee or find a shop, we usually have an answer. Working in a hotel means there is always something to fix or a room to tidy up. We don’t have a massive team, just enough people to keep things running. It’s a steady job and we like meeting the folks who stay with us. Some people come back every year when they visit. We just keep doing our thing, making sure the lights are on and the rooms are ready for whoever arrives next. It is a simple way to run a business.
