Mr Tiles & Marbles

Our shop is at 315 Nagawara Main Road, right in the middle of Kadugondanahalli. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always something happening outside the front door. Mr Tiles & Marbles has been here for a bit, and we mostly just deal with the local builders and folks fixing up their houses nearby. The marble slabs take up a lot of room, so the shop feels a bit crowded sometimes. We have piles of tiles stacked up against the walls, and sometimes it's hard to walk through without bumping into something. It’s a dusty job, handling stone all day. You end up with grey dust on your shoes no matter how much you sweep. We open up pretty early because that’s when the trucks usually arrive with new stock. Moving those heavy marbles around takes a couple of us and some slow work so nothing cracks. It’s not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy. People stop by and ask about prices or how much a square foot costs for their kitchen. We just give them a straight answer and let them look around. The Nagawara area has changed a lot over the years, more buildings going up every month it feels like. We stay here at our spot and just keep track of what’s coming in and going out. It’s just a regular daily routine for us here in Kadugondanahalli, nothing more to it than that.
