Monisha Beauty Parlour

Monisha Beauty Parlour is my small business located at 13/16 on 2nd Cross in Vivek Nagar. Being in Bangalore, everything is always moving so fast, but here in this little street, things feel a bit slower. I have been running this parlor for a while now. It is just a small ground-floor space that I have fixed up. It is not a luxury spa with soft music and expensive oils. It is just a place where local women come to get their eyebrows done or get a quick hair wash. Most of my customers are ladies who live in the surrounding buildings. We have become friends over the years. I usually have one girl who helps me out when things get busy, especially during the wedding season or before festivals. The 2nd Cross can be a bit tight for parking, so I always tell people to try and find a spot on the main road if they can. The shop is simple and I keep it as clean as I can. Sometimes we sit in the back and have some coffee when there are no customers. I did not want to work in a big office, so I opened this instead. It is not always easy and some days are very quiet, but it is mine. I do not spend money on ads or anything like that. I just do the work.
