Monika Granite & Marbles

Our place is over at 28 Subbanna Garden, which isn't too far from the main Adugodi area. If you know the traffic on Hosur Road, you know it can be a real headache getting around, but once you turn off the main road towards us, things get a little bit quieter. We’ve been at this spot for a while now. The yard isn't huge, but we manage to fit quite a bit of granite and marble in there. It’s mostly just us moving pieces around and making sure things stay organized. In the mornings, we usually start by moving some of the pieces that came in the night before. The air always has that faint smell of wet stone because we’re often hosing things down to show the colors properly. Customers usually wander in after seeing our sign from the road. We don’t have those fancy air-conditioned offices you see in the city center. It’s just a practical space where we work. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit since we first started here. Sometimes it feels like there’s more construction going on every month. We just keep doing our thing, loading up trucks and chatting with the drivers. It’s a steady kind of life. If you’re passing through Adugodi, you’ve probably driven past our gate without even thinking about it. It isn't a flashy business, just plenty of heavy slabs and long days of work under the sun. Most days we are just busy with the daily grind.
