M.Murugesan Consultant is based out of 21 Maruthi Nilaya on 6th Cross in Azadnagar. Bangalore is a massive, noisy city now, but this little pocket in the 560001 area still feels like home. I’ve been doing this for a long time. It’s not a huge firm with hundreds of employees. It’s more of a personal setup where I sit down and talk to people about their problems or projects. The office is part of the house, so there is always the sound of the neighborhood in the background—kids playing or someone selling vegetables on the street. I don't use a lot of fancy software or have a sleek reception desk. It’s mostly just me, a desk full of papers, and a lot of experience. People come by when they need advice or help with certain things. We usually sit down with a coffee and go through the details. Bangalore-18 is a central place, so it’s easy for folks to find me, even if the traffic is a mess. I don't do much in terms of advertising. Most of the people I work with have been coming to me for years or were told about me by a friend. It’s a very direct way to do business. No corporate jargon, just honest talk about what needs to happen next. It keeps me busy and I like the variety of people who walk through the door.
