Mithilesh Granite

We've been here on 7th Main Road in Banaswadi for a good while now. It's usually a bit dusty around the shop with all the granite moving in and out, but that's just how it goes when you're working with stone. You can find us right near the State Bank of Travancore, it's a busy spot especially during the middle of the day. Most mornings start with checking the new slabs that arrived overnight. Some are smooth, others have rough edges that need a bit of looking at. We spend a lot of time just talking to people who walk in looking for something for their kitchen or maybe a small floor project. It’s not a fancy place by any means. There’s a lot of heavy lifting involved and sometimes the 11th Cross gets a bit crowded with trucks. We just try to keep things moving. The 2nd Stage area has changed quite a bit since we first set up, more shops and houses now. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we move things around. It's hard work, getting these heavy pieces lined up so people can see the patterns. Sometimes we run out of space and things get a bit piled up. That’s just part of the daily routine here at Mithilesh Granite. If you’re passing by the bank, you’ll probably see us out front. We just do our thing every day and try to get home before the traffic gets too bad.
